Palin Divorce! The Hypocrisy of the Religious Right Strikes Again!

tpI only have a few minutes, but I wanted to share this with you.

Palin is supposedly getting a divorce. Apparently there were affairs on both sides! This is hypocrisy of the highest order, isn't it? So much for "good" christian family values.

See the full breaking story here at Alaska Report. There's also a video there about "hurt feelings" of Palin.
A note by the editor of that site says: AlaskaReport was the first website to report that Sarah Palin was running for governor of Alaska and the first website to report that Sarah was picked as John McCain's VP candidate.

So, it seems this is probably accurate. If you hear more comment and let us know!

  1. If true this could probably (hopefully) put her out of the running for a presidential bid in 2012. Only one divorcee and one bachelor have ever been elected; a combo of the two plus an extra-marital affair hanging in the air... Chances slim significantly.

  2. Actually, I'm quite certain that this is the end.

It was unbelievable she was considered in the first place, she's as dumb as a rock. Her abstinence only view reveals how she cannot even learn from her own daughter that it does not work at all.

But then we add the resignation of her governor position. That should have been death to any consideration of her becoming president. How the hell do we give her another government position when she's proven she cannot even handle a governors position? Does she think being president will receive less criticism?

But here's the thing, people were still talking about it... saying it was a good move so she could get ahead for the presidential run. This finally should sever her from the religious fundamentals. I think this is the needed final straw.

  3. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2009/08/01/2009-08-01_sarah_palin_denies_reports_she_is_getting_divorced_from_.html

I found a bunch of stuff saying it's not so.

D: I mean, not that I like her but I think in the meantime until further notice there isn't anything to go on.

  4. Of course it's hypocrisy. But then again, that's the basis for promotion in Christianity. She'll probably pastor a church later.
Peter denied Christ 3 times in just a few short hours, but yet the Catholic Church adopted him as their first Pope.

  5. Alaska Report was the first to break the news regarding her VP candidacy, if my memory serves me correctly.

  6. Don't gossiping liars have anything better to do with their time? Sheesh. GET OVER IT ALREADY! Why keep coming up with more lies about Palin? Why keep shining a spotlight on her? Shine the spotlight elsewhere as in on OBAMA and his SOCIALIST AGENDA that he's trying to shove down all of our throats. CHANGE that you can certainly BELIEVE IN!

  7. Excuse me?

I think in fact it's becoming the excuse now. Oh, it's all the lies, I would not doubt that this whole thing would be a ploy at that.

How many lies are there about Palin are there? Hmm? She bloody shoots wolves from airplanes, illegally uses government funds for personal agendas, and let's not even go to how much wrong she's done as governor. If you were wondering, the conservatives keep giving her spotlight because even when facing her absolutely terrible work and inane stupidity, she's still considered a presidential candidate (I don't know how).

There are more lies facing Obama than their are facing Palin. Such as your socialist BS. It's not socialism. I would expect your talking about one aspect trying to be pushed, health care, since nothing else really comes too close (which is completely idiotic targeting one political issue and thus making crass claims like that). Government plans in a capitalist society are not socialist. Government controls aspects too big for the individual, such as roads, police, firemen, education, and massive projects and so forth. The national health program would still run for profit in many channels, that is not socialism.

The current health care plan, as obviously noted, is NOT working. And just crying that it's going to try and be fixed is a retarded plan. Because of the greed of insurance companies and the evident flaws of the current system, most of the cost for getting doctor help doesn't go to the doctor, it goes to paper work and trying to the insurance to pay for it.

When you have the majority of your money not going to what you are even paying for, something needs to change. Quite frankly, every developed country has a better health care system than ours, and ours is the most spendy per person. We spend more money for less care. People like you, don't even understand what the plan even is, you just think it's going to be socialism.

    Which is BS.

  8. Correction (Neece, things don't seem to be editable for 5 minutes after the post anymore):

She shoots wolves from helicopters (I somehow foresee you making a trivial argument by that)

I'd also like to mention how she's desecrated conservation sites and sold it away to oil companies to basically rape the land and so forth.

You'd be remarkably amazed if you got your head out of your rear and realized how many illegal actions she has made as governor.

  9. Yeah, sigh... I don't know Johnny. She's such a perfect puppet. She's probably never going to fully go away.

  10. HAHAHAHHAH! How TRUE! OMFG, I wouldn't be surprised if she's promoted somewhere. LOL!

  11. Right, that's what the site says, so they've been pretty accurate about Palin in the past. I think I'll wait and see. These things work themselves out eventually. I had to bring it to everyone's attention anyway.

  12. Well now, aren't we vitriolic? If you read the article you could see I was simply sharing information from a news source, never saying it's written in stone, just that it seems it might be true.
So, ace, you hypocrite, in one breath you're calling me a gossiping liar and the next you're attacking our president with unfounded lies. Interesting. Your point is not even worth refuting. It's worthless.

  13. I'm sorry to see that SP probably won't be a candidate in the future. Really - because I don't think she is electable. As awful as she is, she did serve of a focus point for the nuttiest of the right wing, and forces a choice on the Republican party: Nominate a more moderate candidate, or be doomed to minority party obscurity.

SP in 2012? I'm all for it. ;-)

  15. Oh, GMN, I looked into the editing of comments for 5 minutes. It *looks* like it's working. I have yet to figure out why it might be buggy. I am hoping they will update the plugin soon, since we just got an incremental update to wordpress, and that might have broken the plugin.
